Sport Relief Netball

Parents took on and challenged  staff at Whitehill School last night in a charity Sport Relief Netball Match. The parents, trying to retain champion status after their win at the General Knowledge quiz gave a good game and fought to the bitter end. The staff at Whitehill on this occassion won the match but we are sure there shall be future opportunities for the parents to challenge staff again.

Whitehill vs. Ickleford

With the start of spring welcomed by fine weather, Mr. Gentle held the honorable place of referee in the Wix Cup final. Whitehill Boys A Team launched a confident attack against Ickleford Primary. Despite Whitehill's strong efforts and efforts to absorb the pressure of a strong opposing team, we lost 1-0.

ESFA District Champions

On Thursday 17th October, Mr Mills and Mr Gentle took eight of the School's 'A' Team footballers to compete in the first round of the English Schools Football Association's national competition for Year 5 and 6 pupils. This district round, played against some of the larger schools in Hitchin initially saw Whitehill play three league games. The top two teams from the two leagues would then play off in semi-finals and then the winners of these would compete in a final.
